Anyone have these bits and can comment on the quality of these ? I know they are made in taiwan but taiwan some really high quality stuff.
How is the 1/2 shank set compared to a basic made in the usa whiteside bit set ? Seems like its from a thirdparty seller than amazon. is the cost difference worth it ? https://www.amazon.com/Whiteside-...C83&sr=8-1
or Freud italian set. Is the cost difference worth it? Seems like its from a thirdparty seller too. https://www.amazon.com/Freud-91-1...C90&sr=8-7 Theres a bunch of sets in the drop down list.

I just got this today (ordered it on this deal) - so my reflections are before using them, although I've used other, comparable Bosch bits. I usually buy Whiteside and Amana. I don't think these are on that level, but I wanted some 1/4 bits for my trim router, and most of my bits are 1/2 for use in my 3.25hp router (in my router table).
I think these are fine for what they are. These are all smaller bits, but they are carbide and generally good quality.
The case isn't really wood as it appears - it's plastic that looks like wood - but I don't really care.
The price is much better than whiteside, and for these bits, I think it was worth it. Just don't expect to get the same cut quality on a straight bit versus a high end spiral bit, etc. I will use the roundover and chamfer bits mostly, and the difference there isn't really noticeable to me.
