HI All

Looking for a wifi 6 router for my apartment and dont want to spend anymore that 100 bucks.

The two i was looking at are the TPlink ax55 or the linksys mesh wifi 6 mr9610

https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Wi...r=1-1&th=1

Which would be the best for an apartment dweller?

I found another one to add to my list.

Well are the walls concrete between rooms what internet speed do you have up and down how do you use the internet is the apartment really long as the bedrooms are down a hall or left and right off the main living area. What are you using now and what does it not do? Are you using a USB printer or storage connected to a router?

All that being said my Linksys routers have lasted longer than TPlink. Do you have kids need to monitor or limit usage. Do you have 25 other networks due to the number of units?

Well my main computer is separated by just a drywall and my tv is on the other side of the wall. I just want a ez setup and a reliable unit. I'm pretty sure tp link and Linksys both have a 2 year warranty.

Not sure I'd do either of those.

How about one of these:
Asus ROG Strix GS-AX3000 ($129 Amzon cyber monday) [amazon.com]
ASUS TUF Gaming TUF-AX5400 $149 Amazon cyber monday
Asus AX6600 (XT8) 2pk $300. at amazon SD FP deal
TP-Link Deco AXE5400 Tri band Wifi 6E $235 2pk

Linksys or netgear, costco has had some netgear deals. Warranty and how long they last are different. I have 2 TP link both started to have issues after 3-4 years I believe dye to heat. Netgear Orbi is at least 4 yrs old and still rock solid. Right now I am running 3 routers and have a TPlink that us brand new trying to figure out if I am going to use it or not. I have beta tested 7 Routers and Modems over the years so I have used more than the average person and also why I am running 3 routers right now.

If I were hard pressed to decide, I would go with the Linksys AX6000 router over the TP-Link AX3000 or Netgear AX2400 routers.

Theoretically, the AX6000 router should have better performance and throughput than the AX3000 or AX2400. However benchmark tests and live environment usage are two totally different things. I'd default to the one that is rated as faster and then take it back if you don't like it.
