Use code CMBF3 for the additional $100 discount. This is a TiVo Edge for over the air channels for the cord cutters. This includes the lifetime guide and TiVo subscription and records OTA shows in 4K and with HDR and Dolby sound. There is a commercial skip button for the recorded shows that works surprisingly well. You can also use stream services like Netflix from this box but some of the apps like Hulu are not available so I just use it for my local TV channels and if you haven't checked lately there are about 25-30 local OTA channels, at least in my area. I like that I can record a show like La Brea and watch it skipping the commercials and I don't have to wait 8 days to watch it because the NBC app locks it up from free users for that long. This TiVo Edge is only available through Channelmaster and they shipped mine very fast.

Believe HDMI is 4K capable, so streaming apps can play in 4K. The OTA tuners are ATSC 1.0 not ATSC 3.0 so no 4K.

yep...the 2 tuner limit in Edge is why I'm looking at Roamio and Bolt. Roamio is older and priced similiar to Bolt at ebay for lifetime. Bolt is slightly faster, but Roamio is easier to for user upgrade hard disk....I have 8 terabyte on Roamio by getting cheap WD easystore hd shucking.

I tried that Romeo and mini route. Didn't like it changed over to Amazon recast. Love the simplicity of it in the ability to use Wi-Fi. I just wish that they supported it more. Then come out with a new model that supports 4K. But sadly that will never happen

I think you are correct. My receiver is upscaling the OTA channels and to my projector that's telling me the OTA channels are in 4K. I just checked and none of the OTA channels in my state are broadcasting in 4K.
