I've had this jack for a couple years now and love it! It is low profile and long enough to lift my lowered Miata. It also has the height to lift my Subaru Forester from the center differential. It's a beast at ~100lbs, but it just lives in the garage so that never bothered me. I paid $200 back then.

I have an older version of this jack that I bought at Costco about a decade ago. Jack still works great. It's excellent, but it is extremely heavy.

I had an S2000, that was low but my old steel jack actually still fit under it. I have since switched to a C6 corvette, and finally had to get a new low profile jack. That thing is really low, especially with the lifting pucks needed. I bought the low profile steel Harbor Freight jack that does the job, but had this one been available I definitely would've bought it instead. The low height and high height on this Arcan is spectacular.

How does it compares with $209 Daytona Low Profile Jack sold by HarborFrieght? Yeah it is 3 ton capacity though

I really appreciate the response. I was actually still looking at jacks as I got this notification. Decided against the one in this post now that I realized it's about 100 lbs. Funny you mention ramps. I had some old steel ones and the other day I just made some wood attachments so I could drive my Mazda5 onto them. So you're saying you drive it up on the ramps first just for additional jack clearance.. then slide the jack under and actually jack it up?

Just trying to figure out my best option. I have ramps which "should" be fine for oil changes and stuff.. but I know I'm gonna be doing a lot of jacking the front end up and doing suspension work, brakes, etc. Been driving myself crazy trying to figure out my best option for a floor jack and then jack stands. Main goals are to be able to jack the entire front end up at once from the Mazda recommended jack point in the middle.. and then get some jack stands on each end and feel safe enough to get under the car. Just don't know best jack and jack stand combo because I worry certain stands might be too tall to even get where they need to get under the car when it's jacked up from the center

Did you have aftermarket bumper? Or your jacked up on the side first? Mine is completely factory and I have a bunch of other low profile jacks that also have very minimum heights but none of them work on my S. Before, I had to drive onto some diy ramps that I made with 2*6s first. The issue is the front jack point is pretty far behind. This arcan is not only low profile but also extended reach which is why it works. I feel like harbor freight low profile long reach jack might work fine for our cars as well but I never tried. I used a chase cc offer of 40% off the last time amazon had it for this price so I got a super awesome deal!
Congrats on the Corvette. Do you ever miss the s2000? This is my second S.

Yes. I purchased the low profile ramps so that I could slide my low profile jack underneath it easier. I could do it without the LP ramps, but you start out pumping the jack up with such small increments it was kinda annoying. And with the extra clearance, it's easier to spot the center jack point.

This is my question too.

I currently have an older Pittsburgh Low Profile Floor Jack but it's not a "true" low profile like the one in this post as some of my cars are lowered and it causes my current jack to slightly scrap the front bumper/splash guards underneath the vehicle WITH 2x8's on each tire.

I've always wanted the Daytona Extra Long Reach but it's always been $270+ and I find it hard to justify it as I don't work on cars that much anymore. I plan to sell my current jack for $100 and pick this up.

I've had this for a while and love it, but be aware that it doesn't ship well. It took we 3 attempts to get a good one. The first two showed up with the packaging destroyed, with the jack damaged and missing pieces.

It was worth the hassle in the end.
