Hasn't been this price for a refurb since last holiday season.
Z50 is an insane camera for this price.
I've bought half a dozen refurbished bodies and lenses from Nikon and they are all excellent. you may find a minor cosmetic blemish , and the warranty is limited but the quality is top knotch . totally worth saving 400-500 especially for amateur equipment

Very helpful thanks! Bummer about the missing dial, that seems like a cheap way of forcing you to a higher body.
Now being aware of it, I think they did that on all Z bodies. It is no big thing. Just muscle memory. I kept trying to switch to burst at the dial. The i menu is easy access, once your brain is trained to go there.
Coming from Nikon, the Z is much more fun to shoot than the A6600. However, Sony has the best AF and a great lens selection. If I wasn't vested in DX F lenses, I would have probably switched to them and got over the grip, the menus and missing front dial.
Sony and Fuji seem to be last ones still really supporting APS-C.
Since you're looking for FF, you may want to consider the Z5 as well. No CFexpress, and I doubt you'd miss the top display. GL

I misunderstood, I thought you meant there's no front dial, like for changing aperture and shutter speed. I do like the shooting speed dial but not a deal breaker, since I don't change it that often.
The Nikon 16-80 f/2.8-4 would have been a nice lens for the Z50 but the $500 deal is gone. I have one on the D7500 and love having the mildly fast aperture. I had a Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 but like the nikon a lot better.

That is a good price. I have had good luck with used lenses off CL locally, where I can try it, and mpb or keh online with warranty or return options.
