Since you own these. Would you suggest to remove the first set of panels to bring the price down to $1300+ and register for the free ones? Will the fridge still be operable without the panels? What are you impressions of this model?

Really hesitant to purchase Samsung or LG. I currently have an LG and was repaired twice

I've heard nothing but horror stories from Samsung and LG owners. I'm remodeling my kitchen and need all new appliances and it sucks since they have best price/features. Need to figure them all out this weekend but nothing really stands out!

I am not able to see the 1343 price even after following all the steps. the min i see $1645 after $100 coupon.

Could someone please confirm if we are able to get the $1343 and then the steps?

Almost seem like your EDU account didn't apply. I paid $1240 or so with edu + $100 promo + free filter + 5% chase freedom cb + 12% cb.. Sad part- i can't get the free panel apply

How did you get $1240? I placed order yesterday with $1304 with free panels + free filter + 5 year warranty (plus 12% CB and 5% chase).

The code was someone elses code. That code let you "skip the wait", so to speak. The intent of the promotion is to get a free set after you take delivery of the appliance. The slick deal is you can delete the original set, take delivery, and order a set for free. So, delayed gratification for the fully realized fridge.

All that said, deal worked for me. CS rep gave me 100 promo, took the 35 off for pickup (50-15), $1 for 2 year warranty, and edu discount, etc.

Also, for anyone else wondering, you can set your delivery date further into the future, if you need to for a new home, or some other reason, but only after you checkout.

Anyone tried rejecting the haul way to keep the old fridge for backup. Wondering if i should do that just in case the samsung horror bites me in near future. Would they end up charging back?

According to CSR, you can't change the shipping address. I can confirm you can change the delivery date, though.

A CSR said they couldn't make modifications to the shipping address on their side. However, I was advised to call the shipping company, once a delivery date has been confirmed, to change the shipping address. The number the CSR gave me was 1-800-883-4593.
