Be careful with these. Not a bad drive but they get extremely hot very quickly.
They are supposed to get hot the case is a heat sink. All metal case USB drives get hot. Better the case gets hot than the internals. Heat is the enemy of electronics. The only reason the cheap plastic case ones don't get hot is the case is an insulator so you do not feel the heat and your internal electronics get fried and shorten the life.

Like I said they definitely aren't a bad drive. The only issue I've noticed is the metal flash drives tend to get very hot. I haven't had any hardware issues because of that but I cannot comment on long term use.
They are just better at conducting the heat that's generated by all such electronics (meaning they're better at cooling off)

The SanDisk will go up to 512GB ($40 right now) but the Samsung drive stops at 256GB.

Without Prime, Amazon ships these flash drives in 'one to two months.'

bad thing about this or the samsung is the end is open
so if you have it in your pocket or in a purse then the end is going to get dirty,
filled with lint or something that causes it to fail.

these companies need to find a better solution to offer a real keychain drive but not leave it open to the elements
I have put them in my pockets. No lint at all. In case you never wash you clothes, get a small zip bag to keep small things like this USB drive in your pocket. Problem solved!

Not at all. It's mentioned above this is really slow, and Sandisk has gone downhill.

It's between the Samsung Bar or Fit both linked above.
