The term "Full Array", on the other hand is standard shorthand for a TV with local dimming. Again, this is standard in the industry. For Sharp to use the term to refer to what is actually Direct Lit (while I'm sure justifying it by saying "well we didn't use the term 'local dimming' anywhere) is intended to confuse customers into thinking they are getting a feature they are not getting.
So, Best Buy's web site is in fact correct in stating that this TV, like almost every other one in its class, is Direct Lit. Any reference to "Full Array" is wrong and misleading.

My question is, what do I need to look for as far as better viewing outside {sun, daylight... Etc}
https://www.prnewswire.
Anyone actually have this set? Wondering if it's a VA or an IPS/ADS panel.
We bought the 65" 4K Element Roku TV yesterday at Target for $229 ($290ish with the added warranty and taxes) to use as a secondary display in our living room. We still prefer watching movies and stuff on our Samsung, but we do prefer the Roku interface...at least compared to the Samsung and the Vizio TV we have in our game room.
I hate that they did away with the table top stands, but it probably saves them like $15 per TV in cost. You can buy your own table top stand on ebay or Amazon for like $30 though. Don't let the stand deter you from getting the size you want.
I have a 55" TV with an aftermarket table top stand on top of a TV stand that was made for a 27" tube TV.
