The term "Full Array", on the other hand is standard shorthand for a TV with local dimming. Again, this is standard in the industry. For Sharp to use the term to refer to what is actually Direct Lit (while I'm sure justifying it by saying "well we didn't use the term 'local dimming' anywhere) is intended to confuse customers into thinking they are getting a feature they are not getting.
So, Best Buy's web site is in fact correct in stating that this TV, like almost every other one in its class, is Direct Lit. Any reference to "Full Array" is wrong and misleading.

I've never had a dead pixel before except in college when I bought the cheapest laptop I could possibly buy which was like $1200 at the time. It was an Averatec.
Monitors very rarely have dead pixels. It's only common in cheap brands like Asus and AOC I think.
On my last sharp TV, picture started to turn bluish white if you weren't standing right in front of it. The viewing angles were terrible. It's definitely not as pronounced in this TV, but I think I can see it based on a user photo. Or maybe they just set their contrast too high.
People seem to like it though. For a $300 TV in that size with a Roku it's probably OK.
Installed it today and wow, great TV for around $280
Replacing a damaged 42" plasma TV.
Having an issue with connecting to my Alexa. Anyone else have this issue? I can connect via the Roku app but Alexa won't recognize it. All my other Roku's show up no problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
