MUX chips physically change whether the dedicated or integrated graphics chip is connected to the display rather the funneling all of the graphics through the integrated graphics chip, resulting in better performance.

Some notable items:
1.) Performs well in benchmarks.
2.) Has a Thunderbolt Port, but doesn't have USB-PD so it's not chargeable via USB-C.
3.) Good display; similar panel to a Legion 7 apparently.
4.) Not that quiet on the fans. Gets pretty warm but not ridiculous on the thermals.
5.) No number pad.
Also think about what you're going to do with it a few years down the road. With proper care it will last 5+ years but Windows laptops have next to no resale value. Even then nobody is going to buy a second hand Dell G16 over that shiny Alienware model.

Granted, my background/work is in IT, it's the same process without the enclosure I've done regularly for a very long time (decade+).
I am making the assumption this comes with a GPT partition, if not, you would be capped at 2 TB, and need another tool to flag the partition as GPT for something bigger, but given this is brand new, it's unlikely to be an issue.
EDIT: The windows driver for the Intel AX201 chipset is not perfect, recommend upgrading that immediately, it's something we've had to deal with repeatedly, both at work and at home and I've seen it be a problem across laptop vendors/models, it's definitely the driver, and once fixed I have not seen it recur but it is very strange and will do weird shit like let you connect to a wifi network but not pick up an IP lease - sometimes even by reinstalling the interface and/or enable/disable.

Yes, with extra software and hardware you can put in 2TB drive in it, with effort. My current laptop is running 4TB and I'm already running out of space when some games are pushing 300-400GB limits.
12900h and the 3070ti but i hope to be wrong
