After watching amp videos for a week I decided this was the best option for my situation (a new player in a studio apartment). I paid the 209 and no tax, an excellent deal.

This is a great deal on perhaps the finest practice amp available. It works with guitar and bass.

Good deal if you are looking for one, nice little practice amp and works really well as Bluetooth speaker. The Spark Control footswitch also works great with it. The practice features like the Smart Jam are decent but a little overrated IMO, using Moises AI backing tracks, a drum app from the app store on your phone, or a BeatBuddy Mini 2, or even a plain old metronome are great for practice skills IMO but it's still kinda fun and works ok. Overall I like it but I prefer the tone you get out of the Fender Mustang series so you may want to research both.

A Mustang LT25 (have to use the desktop app though not phone/tablet) and a BeatBuddy Mini is a great combo for practice vs the Spark with Smart Jam IMO and right now it will cost you about the same with it being on sale, just a suggestion.

I ordered it at launch and paid $195 - and didn't get a bag. Definitely the lowest I've seen.

Their customer service is god awful. I bought one last year, they cancelled my order without telling me, refused to reinstate it when I asked (they had increased the price by then), when I wanted to provide feedback I asked for their survey, they didn't send it, then when I inquired about it they said it was my fault I didn't receive it (I checked thoroughly throughout my spam mail), they subsequently sent it, but when I went to click the link they had already closed the survey.

Let me amend that a bit for full info. The cancellation was an error, because I already had an order for a Spark Mini. But the Spark Mini is what I intended to cancel after they had pushed back the ship date on me twice. Still, they never confirmed cancellation until I inquired and when I did they said they cancelled both. But I had clearly provided the order # for the order I wanted cancelled.
