If you want more blade G-10. But it's 50% more at 120. I'm not sure if it's that much better for most people

Sage 5 is much better imho. Costs more but I'd say it's worth the difference.

Main reasons:
-Better fit and finish (different factory)
-Washers on both sides instead of rubbing against plastic
-Full metal liners.

There is a reason this is cheaper than the standard models.

Not saying it is a bad knife but this can either be a beater or a niche knife for folks. The steel is very rust resistant along with the handle material being FRN (basically glorified plastic) which allows for a lighter weight.

If I did not have a DF2, Delica, Endura (which all use the FRN handles), it would be worth a buy. But this just wouldn't slot into my EDC rotation.

This is a pretty good deal. I have a Para 3 lightweight and it's my favorite EDC. So tempted to get another Hard to pass up at this price!

Ugh thought it would be without the FRN scales. Been always wanting to pick up a Taiwanese spyderco.

I like the FRN on it just as well as the G-10. Super solid with full metal liners.
