I mean Adamm345....c'mon man....I would guess that pretty much EVERY late model car out there that is running at over 100K miles did not religiously change their oil EARLY every 4000 miles, and by definition how many tales are we hearing about modern engines seizing up and dying at LESS THAN 100K miles.....c'mon man
The video I linked is about a 2015 Toyota that is having to have it's engine replaced at 180k because the owner listened to the owners manual and replaced their oil only every 10k miles at the dealership, jsut don't trust those oil change recommendations, the car manufacturers don't care if your car breaks down after the warranty is up.

Plenty of people will frown on following this schedule but I've put multiple Hondas past 300k with PP or M1 and these filters. I'm not sure how changing oil or filters more often would really bring any additional benefit for the extra time and cost.
