nod I've been told by a very reliable inside source that in their field manufacturers are factoring in a percentage of price increase to the wholesale chain, and same with retailers to the end user to try to recoup some of their losses from the covid restrictions and minimum wage increases, and they use the excuse of "supply chain issues" and "inflation"..... Those reasons of the "excuses" are probably a definite contributor to inflation...

Digital surveyed execs and other retailers and something like 50% of them raised beyond what they needed to cover increased costs. Of those that increased above cost, they increased prices by 20%

If you can wait, it seems these (something VERY similar/comparable) go on sale at Costco for $8 pretty regularly, and usually after the holidays.

Needed them right away and after reading the thread how Costco ones are superior, I Went down to local Costco in Central NJ and they were $9.49 (not on sale, regular price)

FYI these are 9.88 right now. Picked up 4 for the price. They're worth the money to me. I stack 4 to 5 high in the attic with no issues.
