FYI reading on reddit that MSI makes crappy graphics cards but one cannot deny this is a decent deal. I scored the XFX 6700 XT for $350 so I think we're coming close to the bargain gaming

If you're looking to max out at 1080p, this is the one.
If you're looking to max out at 1440p, get the 6700 XT
If you're looking to max out at 1440p @ 144hz, definitely get the 6700 XT or 6800 XT

Thanks op , in for one.
Didn't see a decent AMD GPU deal during this BF , I was pretty disappointed.
I think it's slightly worse than from newegg , which was the same price but had $20 MIR.
However , it can be returned hassle free , just in case we would see some real deal at cyber monday or pre-christmas

Amazing had the XFX 6700XT for $350 which is a decent deal. It's sold out now though. You gotta be hawk-eyed and watch for these deals

I ordered both this and the xfx 6700xt. Need to decide which makes more sense for me. My computer that I just built is an i5-12400 - will that limit me if I'm trying to play with the 6700xt on 1440p at 144hz?

edit: did some searching and it seems the i5-12400 and the 6700xt make for a well-balanced pair!

FYI: They relisted this on Amazon, originally it was Dec 16th delivery. This new batch shows me Jan 23rd delivery(only option). So be prepared to wait a long time.

I bought my MSI 6550xt on Newegg. Any suggestions on what games to choose from their promotion? Are the games any good?

Battlenet has Modern Warfare 2019 for 20 bucks. Pretty good and has campaign.
Warzone 2.0 is free.

I have never had a single issue with any MSI GPU I've ever owned. What did Reddit say?

At 1440p your GPU will be limiting your frame rate for most games. At 1080p, you'll be more cpu bound.

Scattered reports of failures and extremely poor customer service.

If I have a 7th gen i7, is this about the fastest card I can get for gaming before the CPU is the limitation?

Thinking of some 1440p gaming but don't know how far I can push with my setup.
