I've never purchased from Wayfair, so I don't know if they're selling new items. It just doesn't make sense that this battery powered vacuum doesn't include a charger!

Could be wrong but I think that what they are referring to as the charging station is a specific dock that you can hang the vacuum up on to charge. That's usually an extra purchase. There will absolutely be a cable that you can plug into the wall to charge the vacuum in the box. Think of it as a difference between buying a nicer charging stand for your phone versus the bare-bones charging cable that comes in the phone box.
