This black friday has been a disappointment. Deals have been better before this past week.

Agreed. They didn't budge on pricing in the past 2 weeks of Samsung deals. It was all the same. I expect the same for Cyber Monday.

There isn't a clear winner because even as stopthefomo said every manufacturer's implementation of dynamic hdr has varied between brands. And I've witnessed various implementations between external streamers to internal apps to just about anything.
If you ask me Dolby vision is just another marketing tool. Having owned a qn90b and was absolutely blown away at the picture. It was stunning. Unless you're going to fork out a95k money for Dolby vision , the formats do not matter. LGs oled can't even compete with Samsung as far as brightness.

yes and no, also you need to read further beyond the quote that supports your thought.
hdr10+ doesn't have as much support as DV and has worse tone mapping, so if you are watching this type of content, DV is the better option unfortunately. It's the bluray battle all over again, except this time DV has a 4 year head start and will win based purely on overall support and superior quality (just like bluray did)

The only reason really to buy the higher end TVs is for HDR and dolby vision. If folks are buying this tv or any other of the models where the 55" is >$1k on sale, you really are over buying for your content.

I disagree with some of the comments saying this tv isn't worth it due to lack of Dolby vision. I have the q90a (close to this series) and it blows my parents Sony x90 with Dolby vision out of the water. Best looking non oled I've ever had and I always buy higher end TV's. This is a great deal.

Picked up the 75" QN90B for $1950, and got the warranty doubled after talking with the rep. As others have said, they created a custom cart for me.
