FYI each box of 6 is half the set so you won't get duplicates. If you buy two boxes of 6 you could get the whole set or two of each.

Glad to see Lego is still putting these in polybags instead of a cardboard box and fixed the distribution from the horrible Muppets set. That was a pain to complete. Hopefully they'll stick to this.

Thought I read somewhere that they're moving away from plastic bags & will be moving to boxes for these Minifigure sets 🫤

I bought 3 boxes of the Muppets. Two boxes had the exact same characters. The third box, the first bag I opened was a different character, so I got my hopes up that I had different characters in that box. Nope. The rest were duplicates from the other two boxes. So, I only got 7 characters.

I see people reporting the same kind of stuff with these on Target... "ALL 3 BOXES had the Knight Girl, the Nutcracker, the Wolfman, the Reindeer Girl, and the Popcorn Guy. Two boxes had the Sugar Fairy in the final slot and the third had a Dragon Lady. Perhaps I just had extremely bad luck this time around, but 2 identical boxes and 1 that only differed by a single minifigure?"

I bought 3 boxes from this deal. Hope I'm more lucky than with the Muppets!

Yeah I don't think the 6 pack randomizer is very good. The odds on totally duplicate boxes seem incredibly high but happens a lot. The change to boxes is going to make it not possible to feel your way to a unique success in store as well.

They are but not until later in 2023.

And if you buy two boxes you will not get a complete set. Ever.

Moneywise, it makes more sense to just buy full sets on eBay. I spent way more than the full set costs on eBay for the Muppets (I purchased 3 boxes from Target) and don't even have a full set. I will make money if I re-sell my duplicates but I don't have time for that. I should really just buy the full set of series 23 on eBay. It's $54. Of course, you take away the surprise element but then I won't have to deal with a similar scenario like the Muppet minifigs of buying 3 boxes and only getting 7 of the minifigs.

Update- Well, that's what I did. I canceled my 3 Target boxes ($65 total) and bought the full set of sealed bags on eBay (also $65 total). I will get 6 less minifigs but I am guaranteed to get the full set and it will still be a "surprise" for my kids. laugh out loud I spent $90 on the Muppets and only got 7 and still haven't completed my set b/c of the hassle.
