Great deal! I have this lock for over an year and works great. Opens in an instant with fingerprint unlike my previous august lock where I had to wait until the Bluetooth connection is established.
It's interesting how LPL literally reviewed this lock few days ago, and now it's on sale.

I haven't had such luck. I have both the key pad version and the fingerprint with keypad. I found the finger print to be very unreliable. both my wife and have to scan multiple times. in many cases it takes 4-5 fingerprint tries to get it to unlock. I found myself using the keypad rather then the fingerprint scanner as it ends up taking longer with so many misreads.

I've re-registered my fingers many times, tried different fingers, always the same very inconstant results for both my wife and I. We do have the z-wave version which I doubt has a different scanner in it.

I do like the overall look and functionality of the base keypad lock and would buy it again. I'd avoid the extra expense of the fingerprint reader as it's just too low quality. We have the z-wave (not part of this sale).

Would this work well for the door in my garage that goes into the house?

Same question. Though I don't see why not.
Also, does it come with its own separate key?

Installed this a little over a year, and we've loved it. Very easy install and setup. Having the fingerprint sensor is incredibly convenient. I'd say far more so than most people anticipate. The only issue we've ran into is the fingerprint sensor not working when it's super humid and condensation gets on it, which makes sense since most don't work well or at all when wet. That's where having a code and a key come in handy.

Good bump resistance due to the hole for pin 3 being shallower than the rest. No other counter measures. Wasn't impressed with picking difficulty.
Interesting they still use keys, seems like the biggest vulnerability unless your leet hacker.

I have the eufy with fingerprint and the key is unique/circular, I'll have to look up LPL see if he has that in his videos

I have a couple of these now and I love them. The one I has can also be accessed by an app on my iPhone. So handy!

I have the version with the finger print scanner and I'd never go back to carrying a key, is it safe, as safe as having windows made of glass, I don't know why people would go through the trouble of hacking a lock when there are better ways to break in a house.
