we have a Dyson V10, the bin is near impossible to open after less than a year of use... it's really off putting. Dyson's are not near what they used to be, we have 3 in the house (a regular ball, a V8 and V10) and they've gone downhill significantly. while deep cleaning prior to the holidays, we even grabbed my sister in-laws Shark (she lives in our basement apartment) to clean because they Dyson's just weren't doing the job well enough.

our next vacuums will be Sharks, no doubt about it.

Dyson has always fixed any problem I had. Try contacting them, they may send you a new bin.

Edit: digital card is limit 1 per customer. it looks like u can buy multiple physical cards, albeit the inconvenience.

Thanks op. I hope I like this vacuum more than my old dyson. Paid $303 for mine after 30% discount code and $10 wallet. Also used discover thru apple pay for an additional 10% off.

It essentially is "free" money you can use at Kohl's for anything. Think of it like a store gift card. The only real catch is that you typically only have a week or two to use it. For example, for this one ($90 back), it tells me I'd have to use it between November 29 and December 7.

I have discover it as well. How you get 10% off thru digital wallet. I understand 5% catergory for digital wallet, but how to get 10%

I pulled the trigger for this vacuum but went with Kohls. Thanks everyone for their input; i wasted an incredible amount of time on robot vacuums and dysons and miele and now shark but here we are!

I pulled the trigger on this but found out that vacuum wars is a shill for shark vacuums. They do well in initial tests but break down over time. Ended up buying the LG cord zero from Costco with 2x batteries. See https://youtu.be/e4OIEz5z7Ag for why sharks are not built to last.

LG cord zero has 10 year manufacturer warranty and is designed not to burn out the motor. Sharks are designed poorly and performance will degrade over time when filters clog and motor overheats.
