So I guess they are extremely similar builds. The Lenovo screen hinge looks a little weak IMO. The Legion has more ports and I believe a larger battery though. The $50 difference can buy another stick of ram.
It's a little give and take between the 2. The Legion does have a 60Wh battery vs 45 on the IdeaPad. The legion has a 230W adaptor compared to 170W on Adorama and for the same version last week on BB it was 130W.
From all my research the Legion appears to be the better design of the 2. Also refer to YT review I have posted.
I don't want to sway you or anyone just my 2 cents on what I have found on the web.

I own this laptop but with the 5800h and I bought it about a year ago for 1k. I don't think the CPU will matter too too much if you're looking to get this. Otherwise I added 8 more gb of ram and a 1tb m.2. Amazing for gaming as I play WoW classic and LoL most of the time. It does get a bit hot when you're gaming but that's to be expected.
