AC/DC was never described as rad. Maybe bad ass. Possibly bitchin but that would have been later on.

Wow, never? Rad was used heavily in the late 70's and 80's, AC/DC was very popular in the late 70's and 80's, yet not a single person ever described AC/DC as rad. Pretty amazing. The comment that you responded to also never happened? That's wild.

I respect AC/DC, but man that voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me. One of the few instant change the station bands for me. I just picture someone stepping on a cat to get it to sing.

You are almost certainly talking about Brian Johnson. Bon Scott was their lead singer on High Voltage, Let There Be Rock, and Dirty Deeds, and was one of the great front men of all time.

The Bon Scott years were the best. However, Back in Black was pretty badass. Unfortunately, I never got to see them in the early years, but did several times with Johnson.

What's the bet that these are digital recordings pressed onto vynyl for nitwits?

Back in Black was a great album, no doubt, but it hurts even more that it should have been Bon on that. He died like a week before they were going to go into the studio and record it. Every time I listen to it, I can't help but think how much better it would have been if things had played out just a little differently.
