This is a great unit as it's quiet even on 3/4 setting (lots of air movement). I literally have it six feet away from me working at home all day and never have any issues with it being annoying or getting in the way of an audio conference. Not only quiet but it's a pleasing sound, not the typical rushing fan sound with other systems (including the less costly Winix models). The carbon filter is also based on pellets which gives substantially more surface area than the typical carbon sheets you find elsewhere and that too helps with reducing some types of odors.

I run mine 24/7 on different speeds, based on room and time of day (e.g. bedrooms minimum speed at night)

I got this for covid being in a doctor's office. One of the top rated filters on consumer reports not being over 300$. It also has a light to tell you how dirty the current air is. Very effective.

I bought for 150$ in 2020 so not sure on the price.

I leave mine on auto 24/7. It will adjust the speed as needed when it detects things in the air and shut off when it senses it's clear. Been using it for 3 years now, never had a problem! This thing helped my allergies incredibly, couldn't live without now.

$50 for a year filter iirc. I've had this for 2 years, no issues and works great. Highly recommended.

Not bad if you catch the deal that comes twice a year or so and load up. Set your deal reminder in slickdeals to catch it. Otherwise they are pricier than some other options. This one has a nice permananent washable filter for VOCs as well.
