No, it does not with vertuo pods; It works with Nespresso/compatible original pods only.

Anyone have experience with this? I got a nespresso for my wife for 160. For 40 more she could do one cup and a full pots. Fakespot gives it a D and it seems people have issues with getting leaking units.

I'm hesitant on my purchase, but I was in the market for a nespresso original machine so I figured I'd give this a shot.

I currently have been using a 4 year old ninja coffee machine which has been fantastic. So I based the purchase on my experience.

There were lots of leaky unit complaints about the Dual Brew Pro I bought last year as well. We're a year in and have had absolutely zero issues, so at this point it looks like it was just a case of vocal minority instead of the actual expected experience. By this point we've saved so much money making coffee at home because the stuff from these things tastes so much better than the Keurig we had before even if we had to replace it at this one year point it still would have been worth the $150 we spent on ours.

I currently use a Ninja coffee maker for normal coffee.

I purchased this espresso/coffee combo machine in mid-November from Kohls for 249.99 - 75 (30%) - $10 = $165 + tax but decided to get a Breville Nespresso machine with aeroccino during black friday sales due to the superior milk frother.

Additionally, although I found that third party reusable coffee filters exist, i was a little annoyed that this model doesn't come with a reusable filter and rather suggests you get paper filters for normal coffee.

Ultimately, the Ninja is probably a good machine but its going back to Kohl's soon.

Picked one up from Kohl's Veteran's Day sale last month. Very happy with it so far. No leaks and we are really enjoying the espressos that it pumps out.
