Ordered this while I do research! Lol
EDIT: Cancelled it. This is a not a deal rofl. ASRock was $515.
Hear me SlickDeals brethren. Which is the best choice? All from Amazon:
XFX 6700XT: $350
MSI 6750XT: $370 after $20 MIR
PowerColor 6800 XT Red Dragon: $550
Leaning towards the 6700XT
The ASRock at that price is after rebate and NewEgg is out of stock....(which I mentioned). I think "deal" is relative. Meaning this is the lowest price of 6800XT GPU out there for an in-stock item with a delivery date (who knows if it gets canceled- but I purchased and I have an invoice awaiting delivery). I haven't seen an in-stock 6800XT that's close.
As for your original question- touch choice. Prices for 6750XT (and isn't it worth the extra over the non XT even with MIR and even if you never get it back?) are much more reasonable. I want to max out gaming on my 1440p monitor- which is capable of 144mhz. From that perspective, 6800XT at this price was an easy choice.

Yes that's my goal too maxed out 1440p. 6800xt is the model for me it just comes down to me being stubborn and thinking these should be 500 lol

You're not the only one. Pulled trigger on the XFR 6700XT this weekend, of course deivery date is two weeks out.
Here is to hoping retailers will see the light and blow out their 6800XT inventory before the new 7900XT card rolls out at $899 and posts 60-80% better.stats at only 50% more $$.
Anyone know if amazon refunds open cards? Have to see if it fits my case.
Also...been this price for a month. Not horrid BUT should be 50 lower. Both amd and nividia playing a bit of a pricing game with the mid and upper range last gen.

www.pcpartpicker.com shows card length when you browse video cards. This (assuming it's accurate) combined with your case's specs on how long of a GPU it will allow, should give you options to tell if it fits without even opening the new card's box.
At the quoted price point, 6700 if you like to tweak/overclock slightly yourself. 6750 if you prefer plug and play. $20 difference isn't a big deal I think.

Also going to try for a 7900 at MSRP, feel like there will be a big push and not enough stock. Good luck!!
