My big problem with Beef Jerky is once the bag is open its going to be eatten in a day lol.

AND with how expensive it is... that's a real problem lol.

Last time I got from a similar deal half of the around 10 bags I ordered were super dry and was hard to eat.

If I don't open a bag, how long can it usually last in normal room temperature before it is getting bad and not suitable for consumption?

I am thinking about buying a few bags and road trips in this summer. Thanks for any info!

As far as the 1lb bag of jerky goes, it is not a deal unless you get multiple bags. Sam's club has it cheaper otherwise.

It's weird, they seem to be factoring that into shipping before the code is even applied. I started with 3 bags which comes to $55, but free shipping wasn't an option even before adding the code.

My friend makes superb jerky (this, to me, is junk) and gives me an ample amount once or twice a year. In theory, it's supposed to last indefinitely if properly done, however, since he gives me so much, I just freeze it and pop it out when I want some. It seems the same as when I first got it, sometimes a year later.
