This 2TB P5 Plus or the 2TB WD Black deal from a couple days ago at $179 (w/heatsink)?
The WD Black does have faster read/write speeds, but this Crucial 2TB still meets the minimum benchmarks for PS5 right?
Is it going to be at all noticable on the PS5 with 6,600 MB/s (Crucial) vs 7,300 MB/s (WD)? Even adding the heatsink cost to Crucial, anyone have any thoughts on the two?
Any NVMe PCIe 4.0 drive can, i.e. any P3 Plus drive. There's a stated requirement of "5000 Mb/s," but it's not enforced anywhere and peak transfer speeds don't matter much.
Pretty sure AFFIRM15 is capped to $15 - so you'll save $244 before taxes. After taxes, it's potentially still more expensive than paying with B&H's PayBoo card.

The P3 Plus is a very cool drive. Heatsink is pretty optional. https://www.tomshardwar
