But, one could use one of the many credit cards or rewards systems at B&H to shave 1% or so off the listed price. I'd go with B&H anyway because Amazon is what it is, were I to buy one of these.

The problem with amazon is that they want to get it to me more than a month from now. B&H just says "backordered". So I guess I will have to go with the 14s

The few people I've known that actually had to use the warranty had no issues.
