The Breville Bambino Plus is in stock and on sale for $399 at Whole Latte Love:

And another $10 off for signing up for emails.

I saw it's also the same price at QVC:
https://www.qvc.com/Breville-Bamb...82000.html
And it looks like new QVC customers could potentially get another $15 off using HOLIDAY.

if you pull the wand out and press the single shot + milk texture buttons at the same time it will start dispensing hot water.
Yep, and the suggested mods (required if you talk to coffee turbo nerds (I am totally stealing that BTW! LOL) will put the price well above this.

For anyone that wants to be able to fix their own machines when they inevitably die, you may want to steer clear of Breville. They are notoriously built for "one use" only, meaning they have proprietary screws and parts and are built in such a way as to intentionally keep you out and keep you from replacing what is probably a very inexpensive part.

As someone who has taken apart two different, VERY complex superautos, and rebuilt, I definitely frown on this practice. It's wasteful for one, and anti-consumer for another. Gaggias and their ilk are great IMO not because they produce any better shots than this would, but for that primary reason.
Good to see this little machine on sale. I have one and it's quite capable of producing excellent espresso, not to mention the wonderful automatic steaming function. I love it.

You need to buy the $25 ($29?) BBB+ membership and then it will work (and of course add that in to the cost, but it still comes out much better).

Look at the many other threads on Breville that posted today and yesterday...many people are getting this to work.
still doesn't work. only worked for 2021. i went to the store

There are other differences like the thermojet heating system which is only featured in the bambino plus and the pro. You're good to go in 3 seconds on the plus vs 30 on the regular.

Given that the BBB coupon took the price of the pro down to under $500 I opted to get the pro after all. (I had joined membership plus expecting to score the bambino for $200 on saturday but that didnt work until today). Then I got talked into the pro so here I am. I will pick it up tonight.

Under $500? I got it down to $510. $680 - $170 (25%) = $510

Edit: ah, if you include the $100 in rewards, I see

The reciept showed- 849- 170 sale discount. Coupon discout was 204 so net order was 475.99. Tax made it 517 and change. Keep in mind this is the membership plus coupon which was $29 to buy, so I basically am "out" $4.

I don't know what kind of magic you Americans use but it definitely doesn't work for Canadians. That was a waste of $39.

There are almost never any deals with the niche huh? Have to order from them directly?
I ordered from them directly, and to be honest I didn't try to do much shopping around at the time, but I did very quickly come to the conclusion that it wasn't going to be worth waiting around for a deal. You also have to wait for it to ship from Europe, which took a couple of weeks.

I knew it's what I wanted though so I didn't really care about getting a deal. It does one thing and it does it very well!

If one already owns the Breville milk frother, does it then make more sense to get the regular bambino versus the bambino plus?

That's cool. The Bambino Plus is sold out, but most of the other Breville machines they sell are going for 20% off.

Noooooooooooo! Dammit, missed a deal on the Bambino + again. BBB sold out. QVC sold out. Guess I'll wait another few months til next big Breville sale. Unless someone knows of similar deals? $400 is definitely not a deal.

$400 isn't a deal? Dang, good luck with finding anything cheaper. I actually bought mine on eBay for something like $325, but that was years ago, when they first came out. I got lucky. Actually, I think the original price of the Plus was around $400. That didn't last long.

Let me clarify. PAYING $400 for this is not a deal. You either need to use the BBB route, or QVC with the 15% CB, and I think there was one other.

$400 is the base 'deal' but many people in many different threads (there are about three or four different active Breville threads currently) are getting these for much less with coupons, etc. $340 with the QVC deal. Less with the BBB deal. etc.

Also if you are an in store deal hunter, Marshalls or Home Goods might have one for $350 without needing tricks/coupons. Extremely YMMV though.

I highly recommend Gaggia Classic Pro over this as many experts would do. $395 at coffee latte love.

People say this but I've never once seen one in years of shopping at Marshall's/Ross/home goods. Very very YMMV!
