Yes. Reviews state assembly required. Mixed between tricky to assemble and simple if you can read. Lol.

Many photos of damage while assembling or wood breaking, cracking, peeling while assembling. Nothing unexpected because this is how particle board furniture is. But shocking was to see a few reviews showing the paint coat on the inside of the box melted and stained the toys kept in it. Toxic as well as messy! Made me second guess to buy.

Dimensions are quite similar to the 11$ storage box from Sam's Club (also at Costco). For those trying to visualize the volume.

Ofocurse this looks like a piece of furniture and won't look like the basement storage moved to the kids' room.

Thinking of getting it for the preschooler's bedroom for storing misc stuff. Now if only I could hack up a super cheap cushioned seating pad to put on top of it.....🤔

A few of the review pictures show DIY cushions on top. They look to be patio cushions, so it's probably pretty straightforward to do.

Yes in the Q&A, some have mentioned ready ones available at Kohl's and Amazon for 30$-ish. I guess I'd leave it for now, lol.

Curious where your information about "toxic" came from.

Get a 4" foam and cut it up to dimension.

For the low low price of 135$ 😅
Right? That would've been a great alternative if it was still on sale though.
