Seems to be a decent cheap low-end card for a newer build only. If your mobo only does pcie 3.0, look elsewhere...
Unlike budget offerings of the past, you really will regret not putting this on a modern 4.0 slot. Since it only has 4 physical lanes and all… also note the lack of encoder and reduced display output capability, this truly was a laptop GPU stuck onto a desktop board.

That's for pointing this out, almost got it to upgrade my GTX 1050 which I use to play Tarkov mostly. When not playing, I use 3 screens for productivity.
I've built like 10 low/mid end gaming rigs on Dell optimum computers since covid with GTX 1050, 1050ti, 1650, and 1060 (required replacing the Dell PSU with aftermarket).
If your psu already has a plug for video card, well, then have at it. However, is at least get a 1060/1660 for gamers at a minimum

I am actually in the same situation too: I have 3 monitors for productivity, looking to extend to 5.... waiting for cheap graphics card to show up on SD that supports that...
This was AMD's greedy attempt at putting a laptop GPU into a desktop, now its on discount because crypto is dead and AMD cant milk consumers anymore.

But, of course, Nvidia isn't greedy at all and they don't milk customers whatsoever..
Do you really want to risk your money buying a used, 3-4 year old GPU that was possibly mined to death just to save a few bucks?
