There is also a higher quality version for the same price after rebate (but with a bigger rebate).

I guess newegg has too much of these in stock. Good deal a for light gaming video card if you have a newer computer and don't mind the rebate.

Even though my computer is older with PCI 3.0, I picked one because it was so cheap. It should run most current games at medium settings on 1080p.

Also, in case anyone is considering this for a cheap upgrade on an old system: apparently if you don't use a pcie 4.0 slot, this thing gets hampered considerably.

Seems to be a decent cheap low-end card for a newer build only. If your mobo only does pcie 3.0, look elsewhere...

Ah, the price this trash card should have ORIGINALLY launched at 🙄

Unlike budget offerings of the past, you really will regret not putting this on a modern 4.0 slot. Since it only has 4 physical lanes and all… also note the lack of encoder and reduced display output capability, this truly was a laptop GPU stuck onto a desktop board.

If this is on par with a GTX 1650, don't get it because this requires a 6 pin power source. The 1650 doesn't and can be plugged into any old computer.

I've built like 10 low/mid end gaming rigs on Dell optimum computers since covid with GTX 1050, 1050ti, 1650, and 1060 (required replacing the Dell PSU with aftermarket).

If your psu already has a plug for video card, well, then have at it. However, is at least get a 1060/1660 for gamers at a minimum

Those power adapters usually come with a card and can be purchased for about $3. The real reason not to get this card if you have an older PC (Like an optiplex or lenovo) is it only runs at 4x PCIe speed. That means if you have an older PCIe3.0 board performance will suffer greatly.

In theory there is a possiblity to daisy chain more than 2 DP monitors, but that requires monitors to support daisy chaining. Why go to such complexity? just but the video card that supports 4 or 5 monitors out of the box.

I am actually in the same situation too: I have 3 monitors for productivity, looking to extend to 5.... waiting for cheap graphics card to show up on SD that supports that...

You should look on FB Marketplace/Ebay for 1660 supers. If you can spend a big more you can get 5700/5700xts for under $150 if you are patient.

For gaming, which is the main point of this GPU, it's on par. Who's honestly streaming with a GPU in this performance range? Radeon RX 580 8gb can be bought new at some retailers for around $130-150 and it's a fantastic card that was made for PCIe 3.0. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sku/...Id=6136515

Do you really want to risk your money buying a used, 3-4 year old GPU that was possibly mined to death just to save a few bucks?
