Compared to the 4+2 Ridgid deal for $399, this one also includes a Brad Nailer, Angle Grinder, and Impact Wrench (all brushless) for $189 extra which is a spectacular deal since the Cordless Brad Nailer by itself is $200.

I had been watching all of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals for tool sets over the last few days. This by far seemed like the best bang for the buck amongst all of the porter, ryobi, craftsman, rigid, dewalt, milwaukee etc from both lowes/HD (Obviously each of those are not necessarily comprable) even ranging from 199-599. I went ahead and grabbed this set because I just used half of these models with my father in law building a fence and the tools were awesome, and he has had them for a year and uses the hell out of them for work.

Nice . All brushless . I have most of the tools in that set and I'm still thinking about ordering it

I'm with you, I have all these except the light, nailer, and grinder but the deal is so good, and I'm trying to convince myself it would be nice to have some 2Ah batteries for lighter weight sometimes...,

I wish this set was on sale like this 6 months ago, now I have 1/2 the stuff in it. I'm still thinking of buying it and maybe selling some of the stuff I have on marketplace

I've been on the fence for years over a nice tool set and was about to pull the trigger on the lifetime warranty but 3 yr warranty has me thinking again.

That's still around. The 3 year warranty is automatic but you have to register for the lifetime warranty. Tap the warranty link on the product page for more details.

Look at product details. Register and it's lifetime.

Debating between this set or the Ryobi 10 piece set for $499. For $100 less I can tack on the hammer drill and still be close to the price point of this set. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../320511074

Is this hackable like the other deals? Never tried would like a tool set

You can tell if something is hackable by looking at two things:

1. There usually has to be an option for "free gift with purchase."
2. When you look at your cart, there should be two separate items; the kit and then the "free gift." Both should show a dollar amount and a discount percentage. When you go to return either the kit or the free gift, that dollar amount is what you'll be refunded.

I'm on a lot of ryobi stuff. But for the same price , of course I'd take the rigid kit. This has got me thinking of buying it as well but that would double up everything I have is need to sell all my ryobi stuff…

Could I buy the set and return everything except a few of the tools and get a better deal than if I bought the ones I want separately? Wouldn't they be like "nah - you bought the whole set, you can't return part of it?"

This is a screaming hot deal. I'm trying to cancel my DTO order from Monday for the 4-tool brushless factory blemished kit. This is way better.

I already received my 4 tool kit with 2 free items, I already registered them for the LSA last week and now I'm planning to return it all for this deal. This is a crazy good deal and all the tools (except the flashlight) are legit substantial tools unlike some other kits I saw with a radio as a tool or cheap shop blower as a tool.

Get the Ridgid.
Much better quality and brushless, as J23S07 said.

You'll probably want more batteries in the future. Don't worry. This site will tempt you into buying more.

The Ryobi 40v yard tools are pretty good though.
