So.. this is a decent deal price wise. Keep in mind that airfare to iceland is usually very cheap in off months. I'm seeing dates as low as $414 from Chicago. Lets say you book that flight. Now you have about $400 to allocate towards 3 days of activities (housing, tour, etc). If you travel as a couple, this becomes $800.

Housing in and around Iceland can be had for like $150 a night on airbnb. I actually would suggest NOT staying in Reykjavik and instead going south towards the black sand beaches and posting up camp there. As for activities, all of the above are free or almost free if you just rent a car and drive yourself. I suggest the following for a short trip:

- Secret Lagoon. Dont bother with the Blue Lagoon.
- Golden Circle
- Reykjadalur Valley Hike to natural hotsprings
- Black Sand Beaches near Vik

Personally, I would not purchase this option, especially if traveling with a partner. The roads in Iceland are fantastic, especially to the main sights and car rentals in off season are affordable. You do not need a 4x4 in winter if driving to the main locations (golden circle, ring road). Happy to answer any questions.
Counter point here: I went a few years ago over Xmas and NY, the weather was very unpredictable and turns harsh in moments notice. There are days where it started off sunny and pleasant and turned into snow storm with zero visibility within 30 mins. We saw plenty of cars driven off the side of the road in the ditches from the snow/ice; if you dont have any experience driving in the snow it can get scary with the conditions.

I would say 3 days is kinda short for Iceland, there are so many awesome sights to see, if you are making the trip already I'd want to stay at least 5-7 days.
I lived there for 5yrs and yes you will want a 7-14 days.its Spectacular

What are the travel dates used to get $869 from MCO? I cannot find any with that price or lower than $1.1k

Seems like a cool deal. Any reason why I shouldn't go to anyone who has seen a package/offer similar to this? It says it's hot during winter. Is that because of the locations or should I pack with heavy jackets still

We went in summer and one of the best discoveries we made that when travelling to Iceland in Summer the sun never set. Even at midnight it was like dusk. Instantly all travel plans changed as we were driving when it was still light and stuck to our East Coast time zone the whole week we stayed. Naturally the downside everything closes by 9pm Icelandic time (even gas stations) so had to plan accordingly. No problems with weather though was perfect except for one night during the visit to black sand beaches.

the place is so beautiful I am thinking another trip. But right now not seeing any 4 day deals near good Friday (Friday, April 7)

Glad you had a good time but why is this a counter counter point? My counter point was specific to the Winter time driving, your summer trip is not really relevant to my comment nor to this deal, which has a Winter travel window.

How does this not include a tour of Bjork's apartment. Hard pass.

Long way to go for just 3 nights!

Edit- looks like you can extend your trip fairly cheap. If you are home to one of the Iceland Air departure cities you can put together a neat little week long trip. If you aren't at a hub you'll have to arrange your own positioning flights.

$2500 for two people from Denver. Not really a deal, that's just a normal iceland vacation.
