It's been listed on here a while, but understandable you not seeing it as it's so far back now since they posted it so early.

I was tempted, but for a small apartment I hate to spend it. And then thought maybe I'd get beam 2, but I may just pay $75 for a replacement receiver for my old yamaha that I like a lot anyway, but of course have no current gen stuff to compare it to.

I purchased mine while living in a small apartment and kept the volume low. I thought it'd be best to get it instead of getting the beam and needing to upgrade later.

That is what I am debating also, so that's why I have spent over a month trying to decide what to do. Maybe I will get this receiver for $75 and then get the arc later on when it's on a bigger sale, ie next year. I'm also annoyed I lost some money sports betting so I am sort of punishing myself where I cans ay it's no big deal losing it because I made up for it by not spending $700. lol.

Just be aware that there's a long-running compatibility issue with Sonos Atmos and Apple TV and Xbox (they use Dolby MAT to send Atmos). If you use those source devices, Sonos recommends that your turn Atmos off. You can read all about it here: https://en.community.sonos.com/ho...ss-6852340
