Buyer Beware: These Toshiba TV's are built exclusively for Best Buy. I bought one such Toshiba Chromecast Built In TV from Best Buy and it had many kinks. UI was pretty basic. No firmware updates. Buggy UI. Support process was convoluted. These Chromecast/FireTV smart TVs do not have direct support from Toshiba/Best/Chromecast/Fire for various issues. Better to stick with regular smart TV with manufacturer specific Smart TV OS.

I don't know about this size but the 50 inch on display at Bestbuy looked to have pretty good pic quality and sound. I live in a small apartment max size is 50 inch for me I am kicking myself for not buying the $200 TCL Series 5

This argument is why I won't bite. I got in on Sharp. I use a Roku stick already so eliminating the stick to give me all HDMI is more ideal than having fire TV, only to Roku stick it and lose one port. This TV has 3 HDMI and the Sharp has 4.

I bought a previous iteration of this deal 3 years ago and have been very happy with it. Same deal with the free echo dot but was $350. IIRC the Toshiba name is licensed by a company called Compal. Obviously this is a 'budget' TV but I've been thrilled with it, no issues in 3 years and hoping to get several more out of it.

This Toshiba has 4 HDMI 2.1 inputs vs 4 older HDMI inputs on your Sharp.

I bought an inexpensive Toshiba fire tv 2 years ago for Black Friday

It's so slow and buggy today it couldn't even load a video on Hulu without stuttering and finally crashing

We had to get a new Roku stick for it. Just buyer beware
