This is a very solid price for the best AC motor bowl-lift available. The gearbox alone is a vast improvement over the old worm-drive design. Add on the much quieter motor (compared to the old AC motors) and stainless steel attachments and there is little reason to get a Professional 600.

I want the Red only in 5 qt. Unfortunately cant use the 10%/15% in kitchenaid.com. Missed it with the Target 15% coupon. Its out of stock :-(

Awesome, thanks! Just got the 5qt Pro from Target for $250, but it's $70 just for the 6qt bowl upgrade, so for $110 more for the 7qt AND all accessories seems like a great deal!

huge confusion on power and watt of the motor in this model .Some say in the review that its lower performer then Professional Series 5 or 6

The Professional 600 refurbished was exactly half the price, so that's a pretty compelling reason to get it, for those that don't need all the power and features of this mixer.
