Nope. As long as it was purchased/redeemed in iTunes, Apple gives you the 4k upgrade for free.

Too bad Vudu doesn't do the same thing.

Question about upgrading to UHD on an Android device. I own this in SD through YouTube. I want to upgrade it to UHD, but I cannot see an option to do so. Any ideas how? Thanks!

Edit: YouTube help chat said that they need to refund me for the SD purchase before I can buy it in UHD. Takes about 24 hours, or so they said. We'll see what happens from here.

if apple would actually give me a way to pay them on my Android phone, I could buy this and watch it on my Sony TV... but no, you can't buy movies on Android, even with the horrible itunes app...

They don't have a working browser-based website either....pretty annoying for us Android ecosystem people.

I wish vudu would do upgrades like that

Heck kinda wish they would do discounts say 4 movie collection is 19.99 but you already own 3 out of the 4 movies. Shouldn't be required to pay for what you already purchased prior

So just to be clear, if I have purchased this on iTunes and Apple automatically upgraded it to 4k, am I getting this latest and greatest version? It's a little confusing because it has a buy button. If I buy it again, am I getting any upgrade?…..iTunes Extras maybe?
