It has 1265 pieces. Sounds pretty complex enough build for teenagers and above to me. If you build with your young child, you can probably build with a 6 year old kid. Otherwise, younger kids may get very frustrated while building by themselves.

Depends on the kid. My 7 yr old can build any set. And my 5 yr old could do this with minor supervision. This set was targeted towards adults as a display piece not a play piece

Just bought this like 2 weeks ago for $95 on amazon. Talked to their customer service and they straight up said this doesn't make sense but you need to buy the cheaper one for $80.50 and return the $95 one. They refuse to issue and refunds once these kinds price changes
