I bought this mouse recently. I like the mouse overall, but initially I had a horrible experience. The cursor kept jumping all over the place. On both Mac and PC. I noticed so many negative reviews online and multiple people complaining on Reddit. Couldn't find a solution. And there is no way to do a firmware update on this mouse (on either Mac or PC), cause Logitech's firmware update tool does not recognize this mouse yet.

Then finally, someone on a SD thread posted a hint informing me that the Logitech Bolt receiver doesn't work well with USB 3 ports. So if you plug it to a USB 2 port, or use a USB 2 extension cable (if you only have USB 3 ports), the problem goes away. And sure enough, that worked. The receiver is connected tot the KVM switch on my monitor via an old extension cable and the problem went away. It's still not perfect though. A couple of times I've had to just turn the mouse off and On again, but that's been a rare occurrence.

Bottom line - good mouse but firmware sucks. Either use Bluetooth or connect the Bolt receiver to a USB 2 port, or use a USB 2 extension cable.

Yes. Of course. But lots of reasons why one might not want to use Bluetooth.

For one - if you have multiple Bluetooth devices, you may not want to share Bluetooth bandwidth. For people with permanent setups and extra usb ports on the back of the computer, it's better to just plug the dongle than permanently assign a portion of your Bluetooth bandwidth to the mouse.

Also, for those that use a KVM switch, using the dongle is better so you don't have to bother hitting the button on the bottom of the mouse to swap setups. I regularly switch between my Mac, my bootcamp windows partition on my Mac, my work laptop and the steam deck. That's one extra device than the 3 channels available on the mouse. Having the dongle plugged in makes it seamless, and don't have to worry about changing channels on the mouse or pairing/unpairing

Is this the lowest ever been for master 3s? I know the master 3 version hit 69.99 before.

Seems like Logitech is extending their returns through the holiday season. From their site: "Extended holiday return policy.
Shop with confidence during the holiday season! Each year we extended our normal 30-day return policy so that the holiday gifts you purchase from November 15 through December 23 can be returned for any reason until January 31 of the following year. Your refund will include the purchase price and original shipping and handling charges."
I bought and returned something to logitech and they never refunded me, had to finally do a credit card charge back

I just ordered a G604 yesterday for $40, but I'm coming from an MX Master 1 from years and years ago for both work and gaming. I've got 2 of them and love the feel of a larger mouse and the SmartShift where you flick the scroll wheel and it goes into infinite scroll is the best thing ever. Plus I use the horizontal scroll as volume control which is a nice touch. Only issue I've had (which I believe they fixed in newer versions) is one of my MX Masters gets stuck in infinity scroll mode and I have to take the mouse apart every couple of days and push the little tab back down. That's why I'm ordering the G604, but the upgraded ones with the silent click and updated design look great.

Anyway thanks for the deal, cheers!

Amazing mouse. I love it more than the 2s. 3s is more comfortable and has better button placement.

Oh wow! I was looking for this and was disappointed when black friday and cyber monday came and went with only a deal for $5 off. My most optimistic hopes were a deal for $80, so $75 is a must buy! Thank you!

Great to hear, I'm replacing my 2S with this. It's all greasy and the scroll wheel tread is falling apart, so it's time. 😂

Thanks OP! I have the MS2 and its been great, but the upgrade should be nice. I got the Adobe subscription as a free bonus. Hopefully it will give me a few months as I am a photographer.
I've not researched it much.. is it worth the upgrade? I love my 2s

It's super frustrating that the new 3S comes and only works with the bolt receiver when the MX keys comes and only works with the unifying. I picked up the MX for business bundle (MX keys and 3S for business + MX wrist rest) directly from Logitech with their BF sale and my UNiDAYS code for $154+tax shipped so that I can use the same receiver with the two devices. Just as a heads up to others hoping to pair devices to one receiver.

This mouse is also Bluetooth capable. So if your PC has Bluetooth you don't even need the dongle.
