Nope worse. Kind of like a small am radio sound to it. Fine for telling the weather but not much for music

Echo show has a better and larger screen. This one is basically like an echo dot. The new version of dot with or without clock display is supposed to have good sound, idk about this one. I have Lenovo displays for Google and they do not have the %100 functionality of a Google Hub and/or don't seem to get the same updates.

These things are terrible in a dark room. I bought one a few months ago and had to send it back because of that. There's an "adaptive brightness" that can't be turned off so if your room isn't bright enough then the clock can get too dim to see.
Please note, this is the Alexa enabled version vs the Google Home enabled version.
I stopped buying Alexa products a long time ago when I asked:

Me: "Hey Google, how long does it take to get to <some other town>?"
Google: "By car, it will take you X minutes with current traffic."

Me: "Alexa, how long does it take to get to <some other town>"
Alexa: "I can tell you that <town> is X miles away, but because I don't know how fast you're going, I can't tell you how long it will take."

Does this have the same issues of the leds dying as the original model?

Love these clocks, but don't want to buy more if they are going to break again.

I was concerned about reports of dead leds but I've had two of the original Google versions running for about 2 1/2 years with no problems. I like how it displays the outside temp at all times and the mics pickup my voice just as good as my Google Minis. I also think the older model looks a lot better.

Man I don't have this specific one, but I have three of their other models just grab the third one which was the Lenovo smart clock 2 on Saturday in A previous post. The reason I keep buying them is because they are excellent I see some people writing stuff about lighting which is not correct at all. All of these clocks have sensors on them that dim and brighten depending on the light in the room. I wouldn't have bought three of them if they were horrible they're really good and this is a great deal I just prefer the Google ones over Alexa. Don't get me wrong I have a few Alexa pucks and clocks also mostly all third-party vendors support both for my light switches garage door openers etc.
