I received this TV today Dec 06

Delivery: I signed up for text notifications. They sent a text each step of the delivery.

It arrived on a large box truck. It was carried to my porch by 2 delivery drivers. No signature required.
The TV in the box is fairly heavy. You will need another individual to help carry it.

The box has 3 nylon ties straps around it.

The box does not need to be cut. Once the straps are removed simply lift the box up from its base the TV is in.

The legs on this are solid metal with rubber footing across it so it won't scratch wood.

The legs can be mounted in two locations depending on how you want it setup.
If you want a narrow setup, the legs can mount to the inside mounts. The spacing between the legs in this setup is spaced at exactly 24 inches.
I did not set it up with the legs on the outer brackets. But the out brackets are likely pushing 67". The outer brackets can be mounted at a higher point or lower point to give room for a soundbar underneath the TV. The inner brackets do not have this option.
The TV took about 20 minutes to setup, with our Gmail account.

It has a beautiful picture. Not as clear and deep and clear as our LG C2 65". But it still much much better than the TCL 4 series 75" we upgraded from.
Our firecube recognized everything immediately and setup the controls for the TV.
It does have a shiny screen VS matte.

Overall I think it has a beautiful picture. I am glad I didn't spend the extra $1000+ on a OLED 77"

I canceled my 75" Samsung Neo QN95B $2,099 for this today, and now I'm having cancel/buyers remorse. I had my heart set on the Neo, but the rep screwed me on the 2 year warranty he "said" he included, so I canceled the order, due to the excitement in this thread.

We watch tv series and movies, mostly Netflix etc and some sports.

Should I have regrets on this purchase? I've never owned a Sony, just Samsung's for the last 20ish years.
The QN95B is Mini-led while this is full array. After seeing both side by side, the Samsung looks substantially better to be. Just my $0.02

But with inferior motion handling. Ask a Best Buy person to play media of panning scene 0n a USB stick you own.

Motion handling is just one component of overall picture quality. The QN95 is overall a better set but for $800 more? Def not. The Sony is a great deal

I am sensitive than most to motion. I love my Q80R QLED though. But can never get the motion just right so it's never a set of and forget it.

I bought this tv the last time around when it was $1300 and it had some minor defects on the bezel so Walmart gave me an additional discount. I debated returning this but I got it for just a little over $1,000 so that really changes things.

This is my first tv in the 65-70inch + range and I never knew that DSE was prevalent in sizes this big until I watched some sports or played video games on it. When looking at a grey screen or watching any of the DSE tests on Youtube, there appears to be a backlight uneven issue.

The DSE is only noticeable in sports sometimes and especially when you're panning the sky in video games. Not noticeable in regular tv/movie content.

I think the other thing people should be on the lookout for is the grid pattern DSE that affects alot of these X95J models (75 inch and above). If it's not noticeable in regular content, it should be ok.
What happened to your bezel? I want to look out for any problems

Possible cancellations…..site was showing 500+ sold in last day or two so you can assume some cancellations must have happened.

Nobody can seem to answer how this tv compares to an lg A1.
I can tell you that an OLED display, unless complete and utter rubbish, will be a better display than an LCD one.

Mine arrived today and the shipping box is punctured on the panel side. I also purchased the 65 A80J, so one of them was most likely going to be returned anyway, but I probably won't even bother taking this thing out of the box due to the puncture wound.

I bought one. It's coming via freight.

I contacted customer support via chat. Minimum freight charge is $7.99.. But the freight handling charge varies depending on where it's coming from

They assured me that when I get an email from the freight company that has the freight handling charge, if it's too expensive of a charge, I can cancel with no penalty.
I thought you said in the other thread that you ordered it via free shipping?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's live again. I just picked one up.

Be careful though. Earlier this morning it was not free shipping. It basically said shipping to an address. And under details it said there was freight handling charge.

I waited about an hour, took it out of my cart.
Put it back in and now it's shipping from store. And clearly states free shipping.

Anyway, in for one.
