This is probably about the right price for these cards. If you're running a motherboard that doesn't have PCIE 4.0 support, performance will be crippled.

Is this even worth it? I'm gathering parts for a gaming PC, but waiting for great cards to get back to better prices and my processor doesn't have onboard video.

The rebate offer ends on 10/30/22 so act quickly!!! OH NO, IT IS ALREADY ENDED!!! (TYPO) LOL

JUST FYI!!! the 6500xt (with warranty) it just a replacement for the rx580 (no warranty) in performance if you are running at PCIe 3.0. At Pcie 4.0 you might gain maybe 10-15% more performance.
It says 11/30 for end date

Thanks! Replacing my RX 570 to play the Playstation games on PC now.
This is about equal to a RX 570 or GTX 980 Ti. You're wasting your money.

Does this require a dedicated PCIE power connector or does it run solely on bus power?

Looks like it takes just one 6-pin power connector.

This card should be a decent upgrade over my old HD 7950 that finally died earlier this month. Price is great after rebate. Went the Amazon route with 5% Discover cashback. Thanks OP

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

at the $100 price after rebates hard to argue with it Smilie

People were not impressed with it in the reviews below but those reviews were written based on the $200 selling price so there's that... I notice a common thread in the reviews is it won't be able to handle modern games and struggles at even 1080 resolution

This will get outperformed by an RX 570 in many games if you're using PCIE 3.0.

Does this even ray trace? Remember physx standalone cards? Somehow I feel like we just backstepped 20 years.
I think these cards are just more power efficient. They are ment to replace the older Rx line. Cheap, nothing special, but gets the job done. More of a drop in for better graphics than Vega.

Looks like it handles 1080p fine to me. Okay, it doesn't play Metro Exodus. Oh well. It's probably cause of the 4GB.
