Good question, most don't think about these will need a water source or stored water.
I'm no biologist, but I think any prospective purchaser will have to solve the problem of potable water no matter their caloric plan.

The eggs from the dormant, unhatched weevils will lay and make a meal out of that flour well before that shelf life. You'll be in for a surprise by the time you need to consume it.
If it's air tight then weevils won't be your problem. Weevils need O2. If there's any moisture then anerobic bacteria may be a problem eventually.

A water well seems to handle that just fine. Even a small solar setup will drive the pump for brief periods, providing as much water as is needed.

Boring. Bring back the year supply of dehydrated food pallet with actual variety and not just worthless pasta.
People are actually going to need that in the not so distant future at this level of govt criminality.

? Not sure what is funny about being prepared for a major disaster. Floods, snow storms, hurricanes, and right now we are near WW3.
Good deal I suppose for that want it.

It's always good to have a contingency. Mine is drinking Whiskey at a cabin as the world collapses. If that lasts a week, so be it. Im not going to be a bunker, scurrying around underground tunnels and living off cooked rats.

In the meantime my money is going towards vacations and cooked Cajun ribeyes.

That's the protein content!

But seriously, don't. Flour will go rancid rather quick

Always wondered if people that buy these would consume at some near future (without an actual disaster happening) OR strictly keep them stored for doomsday...
That would be Dwight from the office!

did a few quick calculations for calorie per dollar. The $10 25lb costco flour bags are 11x cheaper per calorie than this. im guessing air tight sealed, desiccated flour will last just as long as these would.
Geez, you've got a lot of free time on your hands

Your last days on earth you'll spend eating this horrible junk and then you'll starve to death or be eaten by cannibals.
