Just picked up from BB today on previous deal, upgrading from the ol' trusty 980 ti and very happy with the card so far. Great price/performance even with 7000 series cards on the horizon.

Good deal. I'm building a system from spare parts to sell as a whole, and a graphics card was the last thing I needed. This should fit the build well. I appreciate the no-rebates......thanks.

Which Nvidia does this mostly compare to? I have a 3070 now. This has more memory, but I am not sure it would be much, if any, of an upgrade.

It wouldn't be an upgrade from a 3070. Has more VRAM than 3070 which might give it some longevity but 3070 has an edge in DLSS and ray tracing.

It isn't a shipping issue, it is a card procurement issue.

In my experience, probably 80 percent of the time when AMZ shows delivery estimates this far out, it gets adjusted to come sooner. Sometimes much sooner.

This one is very enticing. Wish the game offerings were different, though. Neither interests me.

Pointers in choosing a GPU, anyone? Still running my trusty 1060 6GB that I bought in 2016, but I'm looking to upgrade. My CPU is an i7-10700.

Per the Tom's Hardware GPU benchmarks & hierarchy [tomshardware.com] for 1440p, it looks like the 6700XT is right between Nvidia's RX 3060ti and RX 3070.

I am looking to play Horizon Zero Dawn and the two new Spider-Man games.

I know Nvidia has DLSS and Raytracing. And better driver support (per what I've read online?)
AMD is obviously less expensive at brand new and has FSR. Does AMD have driver troubles?
Are DLSS, RT, and FSR features that would make one lean one way over the other?

Not sure to buy a used 3070 ($355-400) or a brand new 6700XT.

After watching a pretty objective video addressing a number of these same concerns (link below) I recently chose to buy my first AMD GPU -- the prices were just way too good.

Give it a quick watch.

I buy a lot of things off FB marketplace and was posed with the same dilemma. I ultimately decided to pick this one up new, instead of a used 3070 simply because I kept seeing all these resellers on FB marketplace selling card after card. They all have them on the same table, or with the same background or whatever. It seemed like they were buying mining cards on the super-cheap, knowing they were for mining, then resold them at marginally higher rates for a profit. At any rate.....decided in this environment new would be the way to go so went with this over a used 3070.

FYI -- If you're willing to do a $20 rebate and make payments through "Affirm" and buy from Newegg there is a better deal for a different ASRock Challenger model 6700 XT -- about $286 instead of $360.

Thank you! Really good information. I actually recently subscribed to him as his newest videos that appeared for me were pretty good. I hadn't watched this one!

Man, this makes me want to get a 6800XT now instead, lol.
