Wow crazy good deal. A little tweaking and this thing will more than hold it's own against the current lineup in any benchmark. (And will destroy AMD at this price range.)

Too bad on the delivery time frame.

Why would someone buy this instead of a faster 13600k for $300?

There's a negligible difference between the 13700k and the 13600k and the 13600k is much cheaper.

Same price on Adorama and you don't have to wait 2 months for delivery.

I still haven't built with my 12700k I bought like half a year ago. lol. But I dunno if it's worth taking yet another loss to sell it and my mobo and by the 13700k and new mobo (where I'd not have to use an old cpu top update the bios).

That's the route I went. I figure I'll pass it down to my son in 2 years and go for a 15600k (or whatever) with DDR5.

If you want/need that extra power, okay, but personally I don't think it's worth paying $100 more for ~5-10% better performance.

They stopped thst sale and pulled them off the site. Only the Ryzen memory deal remains at microcenter.
