All 8 pieces are corner pieces, too, since a large is cooked in 2 separate pans.

I was surprised that Little Caesars uses two pans, as other places that offer "eight corner pizza" charge more for the privilege. My absolute favorite deep dish is Jet's, because the bottom of the pizza has a delicious, buttery crispness (without being hard), but their prices have gone up so much that even a cheese or one topping comparable deep dish is about twice the price, so that's a rare purchase these days.
I'd say Little Caesars is still almost as good and, with the difference in price, there's no comparison. Little Caesars also emails out great coupons and lately the coupons have also been posted right on their website (which actually works better than their app for ordering), making their pizza an even better deal. I can often get 20% off my order, free breadsticks, or free Italian cheese bread (sooo good). Little Caesars even has drive-thrus at many of my local locations, making them even more preferable, especially in the winter.
People always crap on Little Caesars, but it's not the carnival crap pizza people make it out to be and good luck getting a large pizza and breadsticks w/ sauce for $10 at any other pizza chain. I don't eat pepperoni, so my pizzas are always made fresh and they're always willing to give/make you a fresh pizza upon request if you don't want a hot and ready and are willing to wait.
They've really been promoting the deep dishes lately and I think a lot of people who will be pleasantly surprised when they try them for $4 will be more than happy to come back and grab one for $9.
