I am also in the market for the KBGV. Sad I missed the Nordstrom deal. This deal is not bad but I'm tempted to keep waiting to see what happens in December.

How are these with making a single cup or two? We are looking for one that doesn't require the "stand time" of a manual pour over, (I have one but wife won't use it) but some machines like our current one struggle when doing less than 4 cups. We moved away from k-cup years ago and don't want to go back.

I make about 24oz every morning in this for 2 pretty standard cups of coffee (not "coffee" cups as marked on the machines that are 6oz). It's great!

Converted from years of Chemex and occasional Aeropress. Coffee is nearly as good and so much easier... way way better than K cups or any cheapo plastic coffee maker. I have it hooked up to a smart plug to turn on every morning… very happy with the setup!

Incredibly, this is still the most superior coffee maker after almost 60 years since its original release.

I have the kbgv which has a half pot setting. This is 5 cups but each cup is 4 oz if I recall correctly. So looking at 20oz of coffee.

It pours a little fast so to compensate, I turn it on, wait for it to pour a little then stir grinds for 10-15 seconds. Would like for it to have been completely hands free but the 20 seconds every morning is super simple.

Interesting. Do you have to flip the switch off for those 20 seconds to delay the brew while you stir?
