I just grabbed one. I'm pretty sure this is the price that was hard to get refurbished from walmart over the past year. I got M2 2022 12.9 for $130 off and this $100. Not what you would expect from apple one month after release.

While the price is high, the experience this keyboard offers is excellent. It turns the iPad into a laptop. It's very thin while closed. It provides good protection of the front and back of the device. It offers a USB-C connection on the opposite side of the iPad, for cable management or preventing being just out of reach due to orientation. It has a strong magnetic connection that still allows you to easily pull the keyboard off to use the iPad as a tablet.

Most importantly, the tilting mechanism is resilient and offers very fine control. You can tilt the iPad to exactly the angle you want and it stays exactly in that position. This is in a completely different league than my old $100 Logitech keyboard case. I'm happy I splurged on it. I bought it open box with cosmetic flaw from Best Buy a few months ago for about $280.

I grabbed a white one from OWC for $198 for xmas, came super fast!
