Seriously though 3cr13 is supposed to be easy to sharpen, so maybe a cheap practice knife to build sharpening skills?

Buy a dozen cut them blend them out them in a canister. Remake Damascus blades sell for $$$. Let there cheapness be your profit. Most lower grade Kershaws are the same steel and they work fine . Mabey if your in a Urban warfare scenario look for better steel.

It's not a terrible purchase, even though it's steel with a very low hardness, it's at least a 'named' steel (3cr13mov). As someone with a lot nicer knives, I won't be getting one but it's not complete trash, especially for lighter duty things or for practicing your sharpening/throwing.
