Namco made Pac-Man, Midway owned the rights to distribute Pac-Man and used a mod kit by GCC to make and distribute Ms Pac-Man. Neither the two licenses shall cross paths. You won't see any properly licensed and distributed remakes with both titles sold together.
Nothing new but that all is still interesting to me. I like this:
GCC was legally owed royalties for practically any new release of Ms. Pac-Man, save for those on arcade machines without coin slots.
Then this:
However, due to a strange case of wording in the contract, a bizarre ruling was made. The contract defined "electronic distribution" of Ms. Pac-Man as "[...] any use in which [the game] is broadcast or in any other way transmitted [to] other receiving devices." With such broad wording, the arbitrator felt this would qualify for numerous things; in particular, devices such as cell phones and products with general internet connectivity. Generally speaking, while not directly coin-operated, these devices can usually accept payments (e.g. via credit card) as well. The newest game consoles at the time - and pretty much all game systems going forward - would also apply to this.

So GCC is SOL for Ms. Pac-Man Arcade1Up games. hahaha

I believe that's where the seam between different panels is… There is another horz. line on the side right about where the controller panel extends outward. Perhaps they didn't do a very good job putting it together, though you think they would, considering it's the stock picture.
I have the X-men cab, and the stock picture shows it in a pre-release version (the retail version has a nearly-useless 4th button for P1 and P4) and assembled incorrectly on top of that (buttons of a particular color are in the wrong place)

Personal preferences aside, not sure how this is remotely a deal when the T2 cabinet is same price at Dell with $150 gift card as well
T2 guns makes it unique

People buy this as much for home/garage/game room decor as they do for actual game playing nostalgia.

Some like putting up a $200 painting, sculpture or vase- I like an 80s cabinet who's glow takes me back to being an arcade rat.

Okay you lost me. From that page:

"Slightly before the lawsuit's settlement, Namco announced that a series of Ms. Pac-Man Arcade1UP machines would be released. Being that Arcade1UPs are strictly arcade machines without coin slots, this is a clear use of the loophole. Over a dozen different Ms. Pac-Man Arcade1UP models have been released thus far, in various form factors."

So why isn't it here again?

Not sure if this is one of them, but a lot of these cabinets were easily modifiable to run emulators. Much easier than building a custom setup.

I have profound nostalgia for 80s/90s retro arcades yet have zero interest in these Arcade 1Up cabinets as they're not full scale (3/4) and the control and electronics quality is lacking. I'd rather they cost a few hundred more to be better quality and full scale.
